Whats the difference between piano and keyboard lessons?
The difference between piano lessons and keyboard lessons can be confusing! Sometimes we use different words depending on if we're taking about the instrument, or the style of playing. We're going to be using piano for classical solo piano, and keyboard for band based contemporary style playing. Don't worry if you're not sure what to choose, all our teachers can teach both styles!

Beginner piano lessons
If you've never touched a piano or keyboard before, then let us help you get started right! For piano lessons for beginners we start from the very basics, from actually playing to reading music and basic music theory. Starting from the very beginning with a teacher will help not develop any bad habits!
Intermediate and advanced piano lessons
Take your piano playing to the next level with private piano lessons. Based in classical technique and a strong knowledge of music theory we can help you develop your skills or learn that piece that you just can't seem to master. We take a student driven learning approach, so you can learn not only whats important for your development, but learn what you want to play as well. We also prepare students for exams and performances.
Keyboard lessons
Perfect for those who want a modern style of learning. With keyboard lessons you will learn the fundamentals of chord-based music and music theory. We'll help you develop your skills so you can play in a group and learn by ear. You'll be playing all your favorite songs in no time!
Versatility
The piano is an incredibly versatile instrument, with the ability to play complex solos, or to be supporting other musicians, there's little you can't do on the piano. As well as being a beautiful instrument itself, learning the piano will give you a great musical foundation you can then take to other instruments. Music is music, and everything you learn on one will give you something to build on if you decide to try another. Not sure if piano lessons are for you?
